I receive their automated responses but generally nothing after that or if they do respond, it is along the line of we can't find you. I am still waiting for replies to my requests (almost a month). They have very good plugins and they have the very best update policy, but their customer support has got to be among the very worst in the industry. I'm trying to get my hands on a 1000 series or newer Nvidia GPU to test but it's proving rather difficult, and I don't want to buy and return one (not fair to the store).Įver since Joe and Heath left Topaz, their customer support has gotten terrible. Also, the programs I am having trouble with also worked perfectly prior to previous updates - the issue seems to be with the newer versions, but I want to use the new versions as I paid for them. ![]() Other Topaz products (DeNoise and RAW to JPEG) work just fine. I even ran CCLeaner in between deletes / reinstalls. The failure triggers seem to be any time the program starts to create a preview, or if I ask it to do anything at all.Īnd yes, after deleting Topaz I have deleted absolutely everything else - there is no way to normally uninstall them, and Topaz's instructions were to simply delete the entire folders before re-installing, which I did. ![]() Both lock up the PC to the point of needing a hard power cycle to fix (reset button doesn't even work). when the GPU is enabled, I lose a picture. If you delete the Topaz Labs plug-ins, do you also delete left over folders etc. Have you turned off the gpu feature and using cpu rendering?Īccording to some, rendering via cpu yields better results then using GPU for rendering. Have you updated the graphics card driver? So, they have unfortunately been no help and I am out a bunch of money for their products.ĭoes anyone have any suggestions or has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Thanks for reading. I opened a new support ticket with them, and all they suggested was to re-install again after I already told them I had done that. I have emailed them multiple times over the last 2 weeks and have not heard anything. Topaz' support told me to reinstall the programs, and then when that didn't work they stopped replying to me. Do these programs require 1000 series or higher Nvidia GPUs to work? The only thing I can possibly think of at this point is my GPU is too old, but it isn't that old and is still very powerful. I should also note that Photoshop CC crashes my PC in the same way when I try to use the new re-size tool, so something to do with how this task is being fed to the GPU seems to be the culprit. Nvidia Titan X 12GB (Maxwell / 900 series era)ĭrivers are all up to date on everything and I am using the Sep 27 releases of the Topaz products. I have reinstalled everything multiple times including the Sep 27 updates with no success. I believe this happens whenever it calls on my GPU, however if I set it to only use my CPU, I get the "blue screen of death" which isn't much better than the full blackout I get with the GPU. Basically, as soon as either program goes to build the preview, it crashes. In either Gigapixel AI or Sharpen AI, as soon as I open an image, my entire PC will crash to the point that the monitor loses a video feed and the reset button doesn't even work, only a HARD power off will fix it (PC power stays on, but everything else shuts down and the only way to recover is a hard power cycle). Really disappointed with that company at the moment to be honest, I thought they were better and now I am regretting buying their AI suite.Īnyway, I'll do my best to keep this brief: ![]() Topaz support has been ignoring me for 2 weeks now so I am hoping maybe someone else has found a solution. 4/30/2023 0 Comments Supreme commander 2 experimentals![]() Illuminate Sooprizer: Experimental Gunship: The Illuminate Mega-Gunship offers a devastating direct-fire alternative to the Darkenoid. It is highly inefficient, but produces an instant boost to research. 4/30/2023 0 Comments Omega moon watch![]() It’s safe to say that the Omega Speedmaster is an icon.Īnd there’s something truly special about an iconic design. Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.005 This makes the Speedmaster design largely unchanged even to this day. Like with all iconic and classic timepieces, what is so special about the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.005 is the fact that it is built on the original design. Following this, Omega continuously released countless of new models of the Speedmaster, and continue to do so. Now that’s an interesting piece of history!įollowing society’s great interest in space and Moon adventures, the Omega Speedmaster obviously got a lot of attention. This led to Omega receding the Snoopy award after the chronograph was used to time a precise re-entry burn when the internal systems had failed. This is the only watch ever to be approved by NASA to be used in all piloted space missions right up until the modern-day. Today, The Speedmaster is known as the ”Moonwatch”, and it was after the Moon landings of 1969 that it was added to the name.Īnd what really makes the Speedmaster a hardcore Moonwatch is the fact that it wasn’t just used once, but instead, NASA kept using the Speedmaster for many future missions. However, when NASA chose Omega’s chronographs for all its manned missions into space and for the Apollo program, Omega got a golden marketing opportunity that it simply couldn’t let slip away. The brand was, for example, (and still is) the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games. Because two years prior, in 1955, Rolex released its now iconic Daytona model.Īt the same time, Omega had already been involved in the sports industry in many different ways. This made sense at the time since essentially all other chronographs on the market were racing chronographs as well. And as mentioned, the Omega Speedmaster was originally introduced as a sports and racing chronograph. The Speedmaster name dates all the way back to 1957. To fully understand where the Speedmaster 311.30.42.30.01.005 is coming from, we need to look closer at the history behind the Speedmaster range and what it means for the Omega brand. This is the modern Speedmaster that is the truest to the original Speedmaster that was worn on the moon, so you can see why this is a significant reference in Omega’s collection. Instead, we’re focusing on one specific Omega Speedmaster, the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 311.30.42.30.01.005. In this article, we are not covering the whole Speedmaster range, because if we would, we’d be here all day. Many of which have introduced completely new materials, new construction techniques, and simply new elements that makes for a more durable, appealing, a and reliable timepiece. It reflects their adventurous pioneering spirit, and it represents their constant pursuit of perfection and refinement, with all of the different Speedmasters having been released over the years. The Speedmaster represents something about the Omega brand. It is a model that was originally made as a watch for racing, but then came to become known as space/moon watch, to now having been a part of all six lunar missions. It’s safe to say that the Speedmaster is Omega’s most iconic model, and perhaps even one of the most iconic and recognized models in the world. And the Omega Speedmaster is a model that surely isn’t lacking interesting stories to tell. There is a charm to the history behind watch that makes it so much more appealing. We find different timepieces interesting for different reasons, but one reason is their history. The Omega Speedmaster has, just like most other iconic timepieces, had a long history, evolved a lot over the years, yet still stay true to its roots. Rolex Submariner? Patek Philippe Nautilus? When a lot of people think about iconic timepieces, the watch that instantly comes to mind is the Omega Speedmaster. When you think of iconic timepieces, which watches do you think about? 4/30/2023 0 Comments Git checkout remote branch![]() If we do git branch -vv again, we can see that jsChanges is now mapped to origin jsChanges.
